It's December! Wowsers, how did that happen? That makes it a full quarter year since I started out in the world of Romance, and what a time it's been. I got tweetastic news from Entangled's Liz Pelletier about how my debut
The Boss and Her Billionaire went and so in return I get to say a massive THANKS! to everyone who bought, read, reviewed and recommended the book. And as Christmas is fast approaching, its time for a special Entangled Family Hop!
I'm giving away a $6 Amazon Gift Voucher to say thanks, and to help you check out even more of the fab books that Entangled have put out this year (why $6? Cos it buys you two Entangled Category romances, yeay). All you have to do is comment here with your email address (the usual) and let me know what your favorite romance character would likely be doing for Christmas.
My fav romance character at the moment is marching her way speedily through my WIP. She'll likely be supping caipirinha, wearing a bikini and checking her cell for updates while she scans the blue sky for any sign of Santa....I wont say anymore!
Happy Hopping, now get ready to fill up your Christmas stocking!
xMichele

My favorite romance character (Sara from Dying to Please) is probably cleaning her gun and heading to the shooting range before eating Christmas dinner with her family (silly but she's a bodyguard/butler!)
ReplyDeletebooksconsidered[at]gmail[dot]com
Nice! I totally thought you were going to say, "cleaning her gun and heading out to shoot herself a turkey..." and then maybe tasking her hero with getting the shot out of the bird! ;-) Thanks for stopping by.

My favorite romance character(Acheron from the Dark Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon), probably is trying to enjoy his day with his family but, the daimons or the gods doesn't take a day off. So he is probably trying to help some poor person from being attacked
ReplyDeletevampiremistress2010(at)gmail(dot)com
Nice. Stopping your loved ones from being eating has got to rank up there as a top five Christmas Present!
DeleteMy favorite romance character (Lucky from Eden Winters' DIVERSION) is looking for obscene gag gifts for Bo and grudgingly searching through vegan cookbooks for something to cook for him...
ReplyDeletevitajex(at)aol(dot)com
Ha. A very merry Vegan Christmas would be an oxymoron to so many people. I'm vegetarian and for years it's caused consternation in my family. Nutloaf is all well and good, but there's only so many times you can enjoy it!
DeleteThanks for stopping by
My romance character will likely be cooking some delicious food in preparation for a romantic dinner at home.
ReplyDeleteanne.j2 (at) gmail (dot) com
It's going to be broadbean fritters with halomi at ours. Yummmm, oh and lashings of champagne. Almost sounds romantic :-)
DeleteMy fav romance character is probably on the beach frolicking in the sun, sand, and surf with her extremely hot boyfriend:)
ReplyDeleteyadkny@hotmail.com
Down-under character then I'm guessing? You have fabulous taste obviously (she says, fanning herself as the Christmas summer sun heats up the sand just outside her down-under window...)
DeleteMy favorite character is probably planning the perfect the perfect Xmas date.
ReplyDeletegaby_sama@hotmail.com
What do you think the perfect Xmas date would include? (Must file this away for future Christmas titles...) I'm thinking reindeer watching, followed by snowball fight, followed by champagne in front of a roaring fire...
DeleteMy favorite character hates christmas actually! :)
ReplyDeletemaybe31 at yahoo.com
I know plenty of people who agree. If they could, they'd be working Christmas and laughing at all of those missing out on the extra pay packet. My hubby is almost as bad, he's promised to "try" not to work Christmas eve and only go back to work on the 27th...sigh
DeleteThanks for the awesome giveaway! I need books for the holiday break! My fav romance characters would get frisky under the mistletoe!
ReplyDeletegrapeapril75(AT)gmail.com
Frisky hey? Nothing like the perfect kiss under mistletoe to end a perfect evening. Thanks for stopping by and have a great holiday of reading!
DeleteHmm. My favorite romance character wouldn't actually be celebrating Christmas. She would have been celebrating Yule.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and thanks for the blog stop.
Bookworm (dot) judy (at) gmail (dot) com
You're totally right. I should have asked, how will your fav character be spending the festive season perhaps? Maybe your character will be busy making a solar altar, lighting a candle to the sun instead? A girlfriend who's into wicca tells me that's what she does. Happy holidays how ever you celebrate. :-)
DeleteShe'd probably be reading a book.
ReplyDeletebn100candg(at)hotmail(dot)com
Bliss. I think I might ask to have some quiet reading time as a Christmas present. Although I'm not sure Mr. One will be obliging. Happy holidays
DeleteShe would have to be strolling and be adventures outside.
ReplyDeletekp_kazamei(at)yahoo(dot)com
Strolling under trees full of mistletoe perhaps? Hope you get to have plenty of adventures yourself this festive season.
DeleteMy fav character would be planning a romantic CHristmas night for her sexy, sweet, man :) Under the Christmas tree, perhaps !
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas !

Perfection! I love Christmas, and the best one I've ever had was with my hubby, and no one else. So relaxed, so sunny and soooo romantic. Yeay.
DeleteMy favorite character would be feeding her friends and family. After she fed them she would be heading out to help prevent vampire dominion.
ReplyDeleteplanterofhope at aol dot com
So hopefully not feeding her friends to her family! Hope there's a nice bulb of garlic in your Christmas stocking ;-) Have a great festive season.
DeleteMy favorite character is whisking her husband away to an isolated forest so they can spend time together away from bodyguards and ruling an empire.
ReplyDeletebituin76 at hotmail dot com
Oooo, I think I'd quite like to whisk my husband away to an isolated forest. Although I dont have any bodyguards to escape and the empire of my kitchen probably doesnt count...happy holidays. x
DeleteI'm not sure what my favorite character is doing but I would still like to enter the contest. Thanks for the giveaway and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Ha, Hi there Ellen, no problems. Perhaps I should make something up for you...ummm, getting Entangled under great swathes of mistletoe... ;-) Have a great festive season. Michele
DeleteMy favorite romance character would probably be sailing the Caribbean seas in hopes of snagging some treasure. (Think Jack Sparrow only more romantic)
ReplyDeleteOMG Joye, you're gunna love my current WIP then. Jack Sparrow only more romantic...although also more contemporary and the treasure he's after isn't measured in gold and rubies...
DeleteMerry wild blue sea to you!
x
That's Jacob from the Vampire Queen series by Joey W Hill. He'd probably be decorating the house for his young son and wife Lady Lyssa. Having a special meal for Christmas Day and maybe a gift or two.
ReplyDeleteluvfuzzzeeefaces at yahoo dot com
Le sigh. I STILL haven't decorated the house yet, although I think Mr One will probably just eat the decorations...maybe I'll give it a miss this year...
DeleteThanks for stopping by
they'll be gettin it on! Happy holidays and thanks for the giveaway! - regnod(at)yahoo(d0t)com
ReplyDeleteAs well they should! Thanks for stopping by, happy holidays to you too.
DeleteHaving a fairytale Christmas! WIth lots of mistletoe! ;)
ReplyDeletejb-baker(at)comcast(dot)net
And sparkly lights and hopefully a prince befitting a blissful fairytale? Yeay. Hope you're Christmas is just as blissful. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteMy favorite romance heroine would probably be up to her neck in some kind of paranormal-ish trouble all while trying to find the perfect gift for her undead lover. lol Great question Michele! Happy holidays!
